We are praising God for meeting with us at the Hayes Conference centre. Representatives from World Shine UK and USA joined Medad and Connie Birungi, along with UK supporters, for the weekend of 15-17 September. Our theme was “Growing Up and Moving On”.
On Friday evening God’s word through Medad was “Crossing over to the other side”. We may need to travel through stormy waters, but when Jesus is in the boat it is possible to arrive safely and see great deliverance. Vicki shared a simple way to remember these five words of Jesus: “I will never leave you”. Saturday was a day to face the issues which bring storms, and on Sunday we celebrated communion, with its message of reconciliation. Medad also reminded us of the power of words, which can bring both life and death. Proverbs 18:21.
We heard many healing words in the course of the weekend, and are looking forward to moving on together into the next chapter of the work of World Shine, both in Uganda and elsewhere. Our heartfelt thanks go to all who were praying for the conference. We truly experienced that God’s grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness.
